Mitchie Torres is the female protagonist of Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2.

Mitchie is a quite, shy but warm hearted person who is friendly to everyone she meets unless they are rude to her. Although Mitchie is a shy person she is still able to stand up to people. An example of this is when Shane is rude to her in the kitchen and she stands up to him and tells him he is being a jerk.

When we first meet Mitchie she is a shy person but by the end of the film she is confident enough to perform "This is me" at Final Jam in front of all all her camp mates and their families.

Mitchie hopes to become a professional singer and song writer when she is older and is already showing talented writing skills with her songs like "This is me" and "Who Will I Be."

Mitchie dream was to go to the famous music camp, Camp Rock over the summer and resorted to leaving the camp brochure all over her house where her mother would "find" them. Sadly her parents that she wouldn't be able to go on account of the camp high fees. However she evidently got to go to the camp at a reduced cost on account of her mum working there as the camp cook as long as Mitchie helped out in the Kitchens during camp. Mitchie is more than happy to work in the kitchens if it means she can live her dreams of camp but she hides the fact that that her mum is the cook in fair of rejection from some of her camp mates. When speaking to Tess about her mom, she pretends that she works for Hot Tunes China, and says that the woman in the kitchen (who is actually her mom) has cooked for lots of celebrities, including Jessica Simpson.
